Our 19513 series 9.5x12.5 inch triple-curve hard armor SAPI cut plate is a Level III++ Stand Alone armor plate manufactured from high-density alumina ceramic core (Al2O3) backed with layered polymer composite fiber. Rounds are absorbed by this plate on impact, rather than deflected or fragmented.
The Hoplite Armor 19513 Series Level III++ plates are designed to provide a more affordable option for Level III rifle rated armor with Special Threat Protection against M855, M855A1 and 7.62×39 Mild Steel Core.
The 19513 Series plates have been validated according to NIJ 0101.06 ballistic standards at Chesapeake Testing, the worlds most trusted NIJ Certified laboratory, but have not been put through the complete NIJ Certification test due to the limited number available. They are however guaranteed to perform against all stated threats with minimal backface deformation, greatly outperforming every plate in its class.
Each plate weighs only 5.25 lbs and outperforms every Level III / III+ / III++ plate option from every major manufacturer in the United States at a significantly lower cost.

Hoplite Armor does not ship any products outside of the United States in compliance with ITAR regulations. By purchasing, owning, or possessing Hoplite Armor systems, the end user certifies that no Hoplite Armor products will be transported or used outside of the United States.
