The 28590 is a high end ballistic solution comprised of a Boron Carbide ceramic core, supported by a lightweight proprietary Dyneema backer plate.
The result is a lightweight, Triple Curve, NIJ 04 Level IV certified ballistic solution capable of defeating multiple hits of 5.56 (M193, M855, M855A1), 7.62x39 (FMJ, M1943, API), 7.62 x 51mm (M80 Ball/M61AP, M80A1) and is also capable of stopping 7.62 x 54R (LPS/B-32API) and 30.06 AP M2.
